Support is specified by furniture type, seat depth, cushion stack, frame design, and target sitting feel.
Common options include pocket coil units, sinuous springs, webbing support, and traditional coil systems where specified.
Pocket Coil Springs
Individually wrapped coils are used where independent compression, quiet support, and reduced motion transfer are required.
Coils should remain evenly distributed, correctly covered, and matched to cushion depth, fill weight, and target rebound.
Sinuous Springs
Zig-zag steel springs are stretched to controlled tension and fixed with metal clips at both ends.
Spacing is kept within 8 cm for supported seat zones, with horizontal tie wires added where needed to prevent spring shift.
Webbing Support
High-strength webbing is arranged in a crisscross support grid with even tension and smooth rebound.
No visible sagging, no broken bands, and no loose attachment points before the frame moves forward.
Foam Lamination
Base support foam is applied first, followed by transition and comfort foam layers.
Adhesive is sprayed evenly, foam seams are kept flush, and edges are rounded to prevent hard points from pressing through upholstery fabric.
Noise & Movement Control
Support parts are checked before covering for loose clips, spring shift, uneven tension, rubbing points, and unwanted noise.
Any creaking, rattling, localized collapse, or loose support component is corrected before upholstery begins.
Final Support Check
Each frame is pressed, shaken, and visually inspected after the support system is installed.
Approved frames show stable rebound, no creaking, no local collapse, and no visible support movement.
