Drawing Review
Engineering confirms structural drawings, joinery direction, hardware positions, and critical load-bearing points before material release.
No cutting starts until dimensions, load paths, and part orientation are approved.

Precision Cutting
Parts are cut with an electronic panel saw, table saw, band saw, or CNC depending on the component geometry.
Target dimensional tolerance is ≤1 mm, with matched parts cut from the same approved batch where required.

Sorting & Inspection
Each piece is inspected for cracks, severe knots, bug damage, twisting, hidden checks, and unsuitable grain direction.
Short-joined lumber is not used in load-bearing positions; rejected stock is removed before assembly.

Moisture Re-Check
Moisture content is verified before cutting and before glue-up for parts that affect structural stability or visible fit.
Out-of-range lumber returns to conditioning rather than entering cutting, joining, or finishing.

Note: Final cutting approval depends on wood species, board thickness, part size, grain direction, moisture content, and the intended furniture structure.

Joinery & Assembly

Main frame corners, posts, rails, and load paths use mortise-and-tenon, dovetail, box-joint, dowel, or equivalent interlocking joinery selected by structure.
Structural adhesive reinforces the joint; nail-only construction is not used as the primary load-bearing method.
Secondary Components
Side panels, baffles, backs, cleats, and non-primary supports may use staples, pins, screws, and structural adhesive where appropriate.
Fasteners are evenly placed, glue coverage is controlled, and loose panels, rattling, exposed staple ends, or adhesive voids are rejected.
Edge Breaking & Sanding
All exposed sharp edges and corners are eased and sanded after cutting, before assembly, finishing, or upholstery wrapping.
No sharp corners, splinters, crushed edges, tear-out, glue contamination, or rough areas that can damage fabric or affect finish quality.

Note: Final joinery selection depends on load direction, wood species, part thickness, visible design intent, and the intended furniture category.

Pre-Assembly Fit Check
Frame diagonals are measured before final assembly to confirm squareness, alignment, and no visible twist.
Diagonal difference must be ≤2 mm before the frame can move into final joining or reinforcement.
Manual Shake Test
The assembled frame is checked by hand for racking, looseness, joint movement, and unwanted noise.
No looseness, no creaking, and no visible joint movement; failed frames return to correction before the next stage.

Note: Final frame approval should consider product size, frame geometry, wood species, joint design, reinforcement layout, and the intended seating load.
