Each upholstery fabric is selected by hand feel, durability, cleanability, and the way it supports the intended interior style.
Linen Blend
Natural linen blended with polyester or viscose, retaining linen's breathable texture while improving abrasion resistance and wrinkle control. Ideal for wabi-sabi, Scandinavian, and relaxed modern styles.
High-Density Polyester Performance Fabric
A 100% polyester high-density weave with stain-resistant treatment. The workhorse fabric for family sofas, commercial use, and high-traffic seating.
Linen-Look Tech Fabric
Polyester filament weave that replicates the look of linen, with better water resistance, stain resistance, and easy cleanability. A strong value option for everyday homes.
Velvet
Short-pile dense weave with a soft premium hand feel and matte-to-subtle luster. Ideal for luxury, vintage, and formal lounge styles.
Chenille
Soft textured yarn fabric with a plush, warm touch and rich visual depth. Suitable for cozy family rooms, transitional sofas, and comfort-focused seating.
Boucle
Loop-yarn fabric with a nubby tactile surface and sculptural look. Ideal for curved sofas, accent chairs, and contemporary interiors.
Cotton Blend
Cotton blended with polyester or linen for a softer natural hand feel and improved durability. Suitable for casual sofas, slipcovers, and relaxed residential spaces.
Wool Blend
Natural wool blended with synthetic fibers for warmth, resilience, and a tailored texture. Ideal for premium sofas, lounge chairs, and cooler-climate interiors.
Microfiber Suede
Ultra-fine polyester fiber with a suede-like surface, soft touch, and strong stain resistance. Practical for family use, pets, and easy-care everyday seating.
Performance Weave
Tight synthetic or blended weave engineered for abrasion resistance, stain release, and color stability. Suitable for high-use sofas, sectionals, and rental or hospitality settings.
Outdoor Performance Fabric
Solution-dyed acrylic, olefin, or polyester fabric designed for UV resistance, moisture resistance, and mildew control. Suitable for patio sofas, sunrooms, and indoor-outdoor furniture.
Faux Leather / Vegan Leather
Polyurethane or silicone-based upholstery surface with a smooth leather-like look and wipe-clean convenience. Suitable for modern seating, dining benches, and commercial spaces.
Universal Performance Specifications
All fabrics meet or exceed premium residential grade standards.
Note: Final fabric approval should consider test method, fiber content, weave structure, color, backing, and the intended seating application.
FABRIC WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS
GSM matters only when durability, backing, and hand feel hold up.
200-300 GSM
Light Upholstery
Best for loose covers, decorative cushions, low-traffic accent seating, and soft linen-look fabrics where drape matters more than heavy abrasion.
300-450 GSM
Residential Standard
Our typical range for everyday sofas. Balanced hand feel, durability, cleanability, and tailoring across linen blends, polyester weaves, chenille, and cotton blends.
450-650 GSM
Heavy Residential
Specified when a denser hand, stronger body, and richer upholstery appearance are needed. Suitable for boucle, velvet, wool blends, and structured performance fabrics.
650+ GSM
Dense / Specialty Fabric
Used selectively for high-body upholstery, outdoor performance constructions, heavy textured fabrics, or commercial-style seating where weight supports structure.
Note: Fabric weight is not the only durability measure. Fiber type, yarn density, weave, backing, abrasion rating, pilling resistance, and colorfastness must be evaluated together.
Stain Resistance Technology
Premium performance fabrics use nano-scale three-proof finishing technology.
Water Repellency
Liquid water, coffee, and wine bead up and roll off the surface, with short-term non-penetration for easy dry-cloth wiping.
Easy Cleaning
Everyday stains can be removed with clear water and mild detergent, with no specialty cleaner required for normal household maintenance.
Environmental Safety
Free of intentionally added PFOA and PFOS harmful fluorochemicals, with OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified options available.
Note: Stain resistance performance varies by fiber, weave, color, finish treatment, spill type, exposure time, and cleaning method. Always blot spills promptly.
